Stuggling with CS application

Hi all, I'm applying for a role and struggling with Planning & Managing Resources.

I am former CS but back in the day it was a CV and covering letter.

I have an example that I think I can use but not sure if it is meaty enough.

I was tasked with purchasing props and finding two photographers for a photo shoot to cover Xmas and Valentines day for our gift products. To post on SM.

I had a small budget for the props and a larger one for the two suppliers and about a month to complete the work to the directors spec which was exacting and lengthy.

It took me a while to find the suppliers as I had a lot of time wasters and some didn't even reply to my enquiry. Because the directors wanted a certain style, format, layout etc it was a lot of work and I had to explain to the nth degree to the suppliers exactly what was wanted and sent them examples of the style we required.

I purchased the props easily and cheaply from a B&M type store and also used some things I had at home. All well within budget.

I had to take our products and props to another town 45 minutes away and leave them with each photographer and return later to collect after the shoot.

I received the photos electronically later and the directors chose the ones they wanted. They were happy with them and would use both suppliers again.

All was within budget and in time.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Is this the correct sort of example?
It's an admin role with some accounts.

Your example can be based on whatever you think best suits the criteria. I would Google civil service behaviour framework and look for the behaviour and the grade you are applying for - this is the criteria used for grading applications/interviews so will probably give you the best steer on what to include. Remember the STAR format when writing too. Good luck!

Thanks, I think I'm not going to use this one, it's not the best. 🤔
