Should I go for it?

A recruitment agent has contacted me for a new role. More money and a step up the ladder. Annual leave is about the same.

I currently love where I work. Really flexible work situation, great people, happy with the work.

Is it worth moving?

Why wouldn’t you?

Depends on the employer. I’d want to check them out thoroughly.

Also depends if you’re going to need eg maternity leave any time soon.

Why wouldn’t you?

I really like the people where I work and my boss. Conscious that grass might not be greener in terms of people and culture.

I know what you mean, I love where I work, great people, parking! Close to home, amazingly flexible

But....I could get about 20k more working somewhere else.... (I'm in the 50k mark at mo)

Really flexible work situation - what does that mean to you, and if you need to maintain that, will your new company offer the same?

PoorlyDS · 29/03/2023 14:58

Go and interview and ask these questions about moving. It's a job seekers' market apparently and they're selling themselves as much as you are selling yourself ! See what vibe there is

Well, what value do you place on that?

Personally I wouldn't move solely for money.

Never settle. Always look for the next step in your career.

Go for it.

What are the hours, leave, flexibility and commute like?
