Generous cut off points compared to our payroll (NHS).

Sorry, posted too soon! I can't see why you wouldn't get paid. Are you paid current month or in arrears? Have you received pay from them already or will this be your first and final?

LIZS · 22/03/2023 20:17

Have you been paid at all? If not just over 3 weeks is due.

user1497643032 · 22/03/2023 20:52

I was paid on the 25th of Feb but 1 week pay deducted

One week deducted from ? Does your payslip cover all of February? Your contract should detail what period is covered.

Foreversearch · 22/03/2023 23:22

@user1497643032 that is a long period before cut off date and pay day. Your Payroll team should have time to enter your leaving date so you are only paid up to 9 March. You may find any leave owed is paid in April.

user1497643032 · 23/03/2023 00:17

@Foreversearch
Thanks for the reply but I called in sick on the 3rd of March & didn't go to work at all.

Last day I went to work was 2nd of March so I will they still pay still the 9th of March?

@user1497643032 depends on your contract. If you self certified and you are only entitled to SSP, then the rules are first 3 days unpaid and the rest SSP.

SunshineAndFizz · 23/03/2023 00:53

I'm no expert but I probably wouldn't count on another payday. You worked 3 weeks (8th Feb to 2nd Mar) and you've been paid for three weeks.

What does your contract say about sick pay? If you're entitled to sick pay from day one then yes you might get another weeks pay.

Viviennemary · 23/03/2023 01:07

Your company will have to pay statutory sick pay but not for the first three days. If you only get SSP them you should get £40 for the week you were off sick by my reckoning. It isn't much. Did you submit a sick note.

user1497643032 · 23/03/2023 05:40

I was told by my manager that I am not entitled to sick pay because I was still on probation.
I guess I will find out about this tomorrow as it's pay day tomorrow but unfortunately, I won't be able to check my payslip because I can no longer log into my personal account 🤔🤔 I think I will email payroll today to check/ask for f they can forward payslip if any to my private email.

If you do get paid it will be a tiny amount as you've already been paid 3 weeks for the weeks you worked

Fluffodils · 23/03/2023 05:53

So there might be a day or something like that

rwalker · 23/03/2023 06:01

How much notice were you supposed to give they can take wages back in lieu of notice

user1497643032 · 23/03/2023 06:05

@rwalker
One week notice if on probabtion

You may get paid in lieu of one or two day's accrued annual leave.

user1497643032 · 23/03/2023 10:00

Hello all, so I emailed HR asking for payslip too emailed to me as I have no access to my work account anymore and I am shocked as they paid more than I expected
Seems I was paid OSP, holiday pay, SSP.

It seems my manager was wrong that I wouldn't get sick pay while on probation otherwise, I would not have resigned at the time I did 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤣
