Could someone please help me check is my pay is correct?

Hi, I have just received my sales target bonus and I am really not sure it is correct? My salary is £26,000 and I work 37.5 hrs a week. Bonus should be the equivalent of four weeks pay but they have paid a bonus of £1,762 before deductions which doesn't seem right to me? My basic monthly salary is usually £2,166.67 (I appreciate this is more than 4 weeks but not much more!)

Thank you so much for your help :)

Your bonus should be 2K on that basis. Have you had a pay rise and furnace especially based on last year’s salary?

Furnace? Bonus !!

Lol, got to love auto correct! No changes throughout the year so I will ask them to check their maths! Thank you :)

Looks like 4 weeks net, not gross.
That then gets taxed?

No it doesn’t look like that either. It looks quite random and I think all OP can do is ask why it is not £2000 before deductions.

That's just over 3.5 weeks pay. Not 4 weeks.

Have you worked the full year or had any unpaid leave they might be deducting proportionally from the 4 weeks?

Best thing you can do is ask your payroll, they are the only ones who will know for sure.

Net salary after tax and ni on 26 k is 1765. So 3 quid adrift.

No it isn’t. And even if it was this is irrelevant. OP has received a bonus, the full amount should be subject to tax and NI as her base salary has absorbed the allowances.
