Remote worker gifting - how?

I have team members across 3 continents, so we can't have a Christmas get together. We're going to do it virtually, and I thought it would be nice to send a gift to each to unwrap during our team call next week.

I don't seem to be getting any help from work on this, so am looking into it myself. Any ideas on how to do this, or where I might be able to purchase e-vouchers that they can 'claim' online to confirm their personal details? Or any other thoughts?

I don't have access to each of their home addresses, and they are almost all working from home.

E-vouchers eg Amazon, can be emailed or texted.

CMOTDibbler · 15/12/2022 15:35

We get Amazon vouchers in my international team via email which works great

Strokethefurrywall · 15/12/2022 15:43

I've ordered hampers for my EMEA team.

Amazon voucher is the best idea, and you can add a Christmas slideshow or a video card if you want to. All can be sent via email.

Thanks all - I had discounted the idea of Amazon vouchers, as I wanted the team to have a 'something' they could claim in advance, but I guess Amazon is universal and available in all regions so is the sensible option. I was rather hoping the company would do something too, so this was really a token from me, but I think I'll have to up the budget a bit as there doesn't appear to be any sign from above.

Appreciate you all taking the time to respond! Thanks.

i'm responsible for corporate gifting in my company and we have sent to five countries using this sustianable gifting company that is local to us.

Great customer service too! Our staff were given a link so they can build their own box with all the postage etc pre paid. Everyone loved it! I recommend the brownie mix, soap, and ginger and orange chocolate.

Amazon vouchers are probably the best and most safe option now. Considering how unreliable RM is at the moment- it is too late to ship an item to even guarantee it arriving. Overseas even worse.

Thanks all. Good news is I finally have a decent budget for this! I'll do a trawl and see who offers via e-voucher...

Depending on the country needed, Prezzee might be an option

Ooh, I'll remember Prezzee for next time - thanks!

Amazon vouchers need to be specific to the territory the person is in, though. You can't spend an amazon.co.uk voucher on amazon.com and vice versa.

Argh sorry that mumsnet tag got added automatically, it made more sense without that.
