Colleagues' attitude changes since working my notice

Currently working my notice period after a successful application and interview process for a promotion, I am so excited to start my new job and for the fresh challenges.
However, since informing my team that I am leaving their attitudes have totally changed.
I line-manage a team of 6 and the majority have just switched-off from me it feels. I am giving basic instructions which aren't being followed, trying to help them with errors and put them on the right track for things, and it all feels like it's totally pointless. Some even aren't coming to the regular team meetings that I schedule for us all to get together.
This was never the case before I told them I was leaving.
As for my line manager, I've stopped being invited to meetings that I would usually attend.
Part of me feels like it's nice to enjoy the slower pace of things. The other part of me still wants to work hard and continue to do the aspects of my job that I would usually do, to the best of my ability, before my last day.

Is it normal for it to feel like your team have turned on you once you've told them you're leaving?

What would you do?

They aren't turning on you, they are just no longer invested in a good relationship with you.

All our interactions hold value in terms of time, effort and pay off. You just became irrelevant. It's disappointing when you thought there were real relationships. If they are under pressure, then they don't have energy to waste on you. They may have just learned from previous experience with people leaving that you'll no longer care what they do.

This is a really interesting and helpful perspective, thank you!
Trust me to jump to the "they're turning on me" conclusion straight away ha.

You raise a really good point. Whilst I wouldn't be the same if the boot were on the other foot, I cannot hold it against them for feeling this way.

Thank you x

Your line manager's response in my opinion is unprofessional. If it was felt there was little value in attending some meetings because you would not be there to see some actions through, this should have been discussed with you.

I view work colleagues as supportive people at work, not friends, though I hope when the day comes for me to leave, retire or move on in some other way, their response is better.
