Handover etiquette when leaving

I'm halfway through my months notice in a job I've done for many years.
As yet no one has been identified for me to hand over too and time is running out.
I've created handover docs and made them available, manger has a list of all responsibilities which need a new owner.
What's the etiquette here, do I push this with manager or just crack on with business as usual and leave them to stew after I've gone?
There is a fincial impact to things not getting done.
My view is tainted as lack of management support is one of the reasons for leaving.

I think you've done more than enough tbh. It's the manager's job to make sure they have everything they need when you've gone and if they can't even pull themselves together to do that then I can see why you're leaving!

Leave it. If nothing happens then email the information to your boss's boss on the last day. That way (a) you have done the right thing and (b) you have ensured that they have no need to contact you after you have gone.

I think the documents you have prepared are enough. Realistically, its unlikely that your company will find a permanent replacement within the month, when you consider advertising, interviews, notice periods. If you are management or a specialist, your company should have had the foresight to put you on a longer notice period. You've done your bit, the rest is up to them.

Let them reap what they have sown via shit management. Don't punish yourself. Do what you need to and send a list of what would need to be handed over at the minimum but don't go killing yourself over it if they can't be arsed to reply.

Thanks all, makes me feel much better 😊

Yes I second this - and you cover yourself at the same time from any possibility your ex-manager tries to shift any blame onto you for lack of a written or personal handover. Possibly bcc your personal account too. Good luck with your new job. 🌹

With 1 week til I leave several people have been dumped on with my tasks. Had a mtg with 3 dept heads including my mgr, who exclaimed it was the most comprehensive handover he'd ever seen but could he have my personal email if they had any queries.
How I laughed 🤣

^ this. If you really want to be conscientious you could email the docs to boss’ boss a week ahead of your leaving so that would give them a push to split to your responsibilities on a temp basis & you could have handover meetings

This us what your boss should be planning honestly but in this way you could not be blamed …

Wow! You've done plenty and certainly wouldn't expect any more.

Enjoy leaving and don't give them your personal email or phone number!!!

Do ensure you secure any LinkedIn, Facebook and other social media accounts you have in case they try and reach you through those. 🌹
