My workload has really increased since I started my job 2 years ago. I asked my manager for more hours but I am not full time. I spent the last couple of Sundays catching up with work and I work late into the evening. I've got to the point where I don't look forward to the weekends anymore.

I've worked really hard to get to where I am but I have no work life balance. Any advice apart from keep looking for another job?

What reason did your manager give for not giving you more hours (assuming they didn't)?

If you finish the work in your own time, it masks the problem. Tell your manager (in writing) that you are giving advance warning that there is too much to do in the hours for which you are paid and that you cannot continue to clear the backlog in your own time. Then keep to your hours.

Stop doing the work in your own time, you'll burn out.

You need to not do the work in your own time, ie let it slip so that they have motivation to give you more hours or hire someone. If the work is getting done anyway, they aren't going to change.
