None

Comefromaway · 21/09/2022 15:22

There is no percentage. Wages are reviewed on an individual basis each year.

Comefromaway · 21/09/2022 15:23

Apart from those who come under the published BESA rates

saveforthat · 21/09/2022 15:23

This will vary so much. In my experience (private sector) there is no automatic annual pay rise, just performance related pay.

flippery · 21/09/2022 15:30

A measly 1% this year

Cake4 · 21/09/2022 15:30

Assessed every year. Normally at least 5%

Devo1818 · 21/09/2022 15:32

Last year it was zero, other years jts been just below inflation rate, this year about half of inflation. So I think in real terms we are on about a 12% pay decrease in the past few years.

Public sector profession.

Abiagogo · 25/09/2022 07:20

It depends on performance, last 2 years have been 22%, but will see about FY 2223.

Legal professional in FS

Kdub · 25/09/2022 07:25

It varies, 2021 8%, 2020 0%, 2019 4% before that around the 3/4% mark. Just waiting to find out this year's.

MintJulia · 25/09/2022 07:43

Individual and performance related.

I had 11% last September and an extra 2% in April. Don't know about this September yet. We're hitting all the targets though so feeling quite hopeful.🙂

PanicAtTheBigTesco · 25/09/2022 07:45

It's the same across the board where I work, between 1-3% normally but this year they gave 6%

BatshitCrazyWoman · 25/09/2022 07:54

About 1% normally. Nothing in 2020. I work for a charity. Our pay rises for this year haven't been announced, but I don't have high expectations!

Guardup · 25/09/2022 07:56

I don’t know if I’m being naive but I’m thinking in line with inflation. It will be my fist pay rise in my new role so maybe I’m completely unrealistic. Private sector.

AriettyHomily · 25/09/2022 07:59

Private sector, pay had stagnated for years for a number of reasons, m and a activity etc. Got a 1% pay rise on baseline this year.

Have still got bonuses (a lot less than they used to be!) and in the last couple of years a car allowance and then that has increased as it doesn't come of bottom line to the business unit.

Naive Im afraid!

fiorentina · 25/09/2022 08:15

I work in financial services and have had no rises for 3 years. This might be unusual but it’s naive to expect you will definitely get one. Have had small bonuses.

Lonecatwithkitten · 27/09/2022 08:27

Our industry has stagnant Ed for years, but company I work for as new CEO and new ethos. We got around 6% in January and are getting a minimum of 6% on 1st October.
They have also revamped maternity pay, sick pay and holiday to all be a much better package.

SellFridges · 27/09/2022 08:29

Between 1-3% usually. I think I got 4% this year which was performance related and because I’m towards the bottom of salary for my grading.

Zhougzhoug · 27/09/2022 09:47

Worked for 20 years. Charities/arts. Mostly nothing, in line with inflation if you were lucky. Manager level jobs in my sector are now paying 28-32k which is what Officer level jobs were paying 10-15 years ago.
