NHS CLERICAL OFFICER INTERVIEW - Help needed

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice please. I have a forthcoming interview (next week) with NHS Fife for a Clerical Officer role. Can anyone help with questions which I should prep??? I’ve learned the NHS Fife values for 2022 but I’m starting to panic now I won’t do well. I’d really love this job opportunity, more than I can explain. Any advice from others with NHS interview experience, I’d be very grateful. Thank you. ♥️

Why do you want the role? What skills and experience can you bring? Give an example of working in a team and independently. What's your understanding of good communication skills? What are your weaknesses? Why should we hire you?

Good luck!

I work for the NHS and they are keen for people to know the core values and will most likely ask you a scenario question on how you would use one of the core values.
Good luck x

In the interviews I had for nhs last year, a security/confidentiality handling situation always came up. Plus a what would you do if the patients family tried to intervene and you had to defuse the situation - This was both for a patient booking and health care assistant role - the patient booking I was expected to know what the pathway times were and it was pretty much a good thing I looked at what Patient Pathway Co ordinator meant in other trusts as I would have been more lost as it turned out the HR hadn't posted the right job description to start with (yes it was a curve ball at interview) so I was glad I looked at other trust sites rather then purely the one I'd applied too. HR had posted as if it was public facing when in reality it was call centre based needing a very good understanding of the actual hospital lay out.

Prepare an equality and diversity answer.

There's usually an EDI question (equality, diversity, inclusion)

Tell us about a time when you had to deal with a difficult person on the phone or in person. What do you think makes a good team member? Tell us about a time when you've worked on your own initiative. How competent are you with using (whatever software they've mentioned in the job description)? What can you bring to the role / what relevant experience do you have / why do you think you would be a good fit? Something about confidentiality and data protection.

I had an interview on Monday for an NHS admin support role. I didn't get the job but did get useful feedback, and was told to read up on the Caldicott Principles and be sure to reference them in any future interviews.

I had an interview for a clerical officer role in a clinical coding department (a good few years ago now) there was definitely something about confidentiality, something like if you picked up the notes of someone you knew what would you do?'

They definitely asked about values and then something like if you picked up the phone to someone and they were asking for info on a pt wwyd, or something like.
