Have I messed up?

I have an interview on Friday and I really want the job, its a remote role so a remote interview. When I received the calendar invite I accepted on that but am now panicking that I should have also emailed them to say I could make it? Have I messed up or will it be ok? I am prone to last minute panics with these things 😂

E mail them now just as a follow up. Good luck

You will be fine but yes email now to put your mind at rest

Your panicking!
You've accepted, all good

Do I email? If so what do I say, it was 3 weeks ago I got the original invite.

When is it actual interview?
If you accepted 3 weeks I wouldn't personally email now

RJnomore1 · 21/06/2022 11:03

Just say thank you for inviting me, I accepted the invitation but just to confirm I am looking forward to speaking with you on Friday.

ZiaMcnab · 21/06/2022 11:05

@Monkeybutt1 Just drop an email saying "Thank you for inviting me to interview on Friday at [time] via [platform]. I just wanted to re-confirm my attendance. I look forward to speaking to you then"

I manage recruitment at my organisation and it's a total nightmare at the moment, with no-shows being a particular problem so, given you accepted the invite 3 weeks ago, I'm sure the recruiter will really appreciate you re-confirming, but you definitely already have confirmed by accepting the invite!

I'd email, but everyone is computer literate and they may not see you've accepted. Think of the email as a cover letter, see above poster for helpful wording.

I have used this wording thank you. I really really want this job!
