Finding a job with a maths A level.

I'm a single mum who spent her twenties travelling or trying to grow various self employment ventures.
Now I would like a steady stable job and I'm not sure where to start. I've got experience working for employers, such as waitressing and supervising the restaurant when I was at university (I didn't finish the degree because of wanting to grow my own thing and financial reasons too), and in a family owned market research company, but nothing for more than a couple of years at a time. I think it's been about eight years since someone formally employed me, apart from doing some as occasional work each year for my uncle's market research company.
I was wondering where I would start. I'm an hour's commute from London, so I could commute but I would like to find something where I could work from home half the week to save on the fares.
I have an A in maths A level but it was in 2009 and some lower grades in science. All my GCSEs are good. İt's my lack of formal work experience of recent years which bothers me. I've been a stay at home mum for three years. I'm hoping that being a parent will show an employer that I'm stable and wouldn't be running off travelling again.
Can anyone recommend some good recruitment agencies where I could get started?

Use your experience of travelling to highlight your people skills, communication skills. Big yourself up.
Uni taught you.. Microsoft office skills, managing and meeting deadlines, working to right and of term changeable deadlines

Use self employment ventures to show off other skills - self starter etc. Doesn’t matter if they didn’t come to fruition, talk about the process. Most people wouldn’t have the initiative or confidence to make a go of it.
