Has anyone managed to become "un-findable" online?

My DD has had a really tough hand dealt to her, health-wise for the best part of her teens.
She's now well and working hard to make up for lost time and no longer wants to be defined by her poor mental-health.
Today she was offered a post in a primary school.
The issue is that if you were to Google her, records of past incidents appear with names and pictures. (Not crime-related - she was missing.
Has anyone managed to have their name removed from a Google search? (Thinking quite a few folk would want to do this if searching for / starting a new job)

Right to be forgotten - she can ask for her personal data to be removed under GDPR. But you will have to google it as I don't know the details.

Instructions for how to do it are at support.google.com/legal/answer/10769224?hl=en.

(I appreciate that's not exactly what you asked)

This is perfect. Thank you both.

Seems to me that the recruiters either didn’t Google her or didn’t care about what they saw. That’s all that matters. Well done her for moving onwards and upwards.
Is it her issue or your issue that this information is online? If it’s hers then of course follow the advice given about removing it. It can be rough having bits of your life that you’d rather forget readily available for all too see so she may just have to have a few replies up her sleeve incase her past is brought up. I hope she enjoys her new job and is proud of herself

It won't be deleted but she can have it removed from google and other common search engines so it will be hard to find.

Good luck to her!

@FlorenceNightshade
It's her worry so mine on her behalf, here.
What she's thinking about is pupils and parents Googling her - it's super common.
Compared to everything she's endured, it's small-fry but if there's a way to avoid awkwardness in the future, she might as well use it.
I am so so super proud of her!
