Excluded from meetings?

Hope someone can help.

I have a meeting next week with my employer where I think we are going to part ways.

In the meantime, I'm being excluded from regular team calls (WFH) both internally and external client calls. Is this allowed?

Yes, of course. You don’t have an automatic right to be in meetings.

It could be classed as subtle discrimination, making you (the employee) feel isolated. It's a cleaver and indirect method which conveys ambiguous intent, so difficult to prove bad intentions. If I was you, I'd be asking myself, 'do I really need to stay until that meeting next week?'

Are they meetings you should be in? Are you the only team member not included?

Your question is missing important detail and context.

I think it depends why you suspect your employer and you are about to part… is this a disciplinary? If this meeting is part of an HR process, I suspect it may be okay for parts of your job to be suspended.

If you are just randomly thinking you’re about to be fired (why?) then it’s odd behaviour to exclude you and may be a form of discrimination or a step towards constructive dismissal.
