Non computer based jobs

Due to health reasons I can’t spend long periods at a computer. My eye health would deteriorate rapidly if I worked full time at a computer. Short periods is fine (45mins-1hr at a time is ok) and I’m computer literate.

If your job is not computer based, but also not minimum wage please tell me what you do! I need to make a change.

Some of the businesses I work for that pay above min. Wage are cleaners (private homes & holiday homes), carers (mainly for charity run homes rather than private businesses), child care (again for charity run placements rather than private businesses).
Also, a lot of hospitality businesses need staff so may he able to pay above min wage.

I’ve been pondering this for about two years as I have severe Dry eye disease. Honestly nothing pays great if it’s not computer based. (It’s a shame as I actually like computer based work).

I currently work in a SEN college helping students with learning disabilities.

Pay is not good. Zero computer work however.

I run a dog walking and pet sitting business. Pay is around £1600 per month working 20-ish hours a week.

Working in a (public) library? There is some computer work but most of it is away from screens and you wouldn't be at a screen more than an hour at a time.
