NHS, still non clinical due to Covid\Shielding, colleagues angry

I've been off front line duty for the duration of COVID due to a medical issue. Reassigned to a non clinical role.
My colleagues have at times directed their anger at their busy workload at me, although I'm unable to help! I haven't found it easy either being dropped into a new role.
Hoping to go back when guidance changes, but feel like a pariah now, and unsure whether to leave or put in for a transfer to another area.

Don't leave.

Tell you colleagues whenever you can that you'd swop your condition for their workload in a heartbeat

Because it sounds like they need reminding that youndidnt choose thus, you cant do anything about it, and you'll be living with it indefinitely.

And that for the very vulnerable, the lifting of restrictions is having the opposite effect - they don't want to be in your shoes really, they're just having a (tactless) moan

Haven't restrictions for people shielding been lifted already? So it's just guidance from your Trust being followed rather than national guidance? Just asking - I genuinely don't know. I wonder if that is what changes your colleagues viewpoints a bit (not saying that is right). Everyone I know who is heavily pregnant and teaching for example, is expected to be in work, even when covid is wiping out half a class at any one time, as are the CEV.

Transfer. Start fresh elsewhere.Things won't be the same going back due to all the resentment.
