Calculating days off sick when part tine

I was off sick between November and January due to stress and anxiety. I work three days a week. I have missed 30 of my 'working days'.

However, my employer has calculated that I've had 50 working days off. Clearly this is based on a 5 day week and includes the holidays (I work in a school). Is that correct? Do they always include the full weeks (I guess so, the GP sick notes do) and holidays? I just wanted to check.

Have they actually stated days or a percentage - if you work term time only in a school it is usually 38 or 39 weeks work per annum, 10 weeks off would be almost a quarter of your annual time/salary if you are paid equally throughout the year.

I am NHS , full weeks are always calculated like this

Thanks - sorry, should have said, I'm all year round.
They have included the Christmas holidays in the total sick leave, calculated as days, rather than percentage.

Of course, I understand this is offset by accrued leave - I can still use my holiday - and I am really lucky to have this. I just wanted to check as the sick absence looks terrible and this is stressing me out as I want to move on, but realise this will not look good to prospective employers!

I look more at the episodes rather than the total if I am thinking of recruiting
So someone off on one occasion for 50 days
Rather than someone off 50 times for one day
Not same thing at all

Thank you - that helps.
I am feeling a bit better thanks, but the issue of workload vs staffing is still there, so I am going to have to move for my sanity.
