I started in November and have always been paid monthly prior to this job, I’m on universal credit also I work 15 hours a week but get about £10.50 per hour and I’m really worried how it’ll affect my housing help I get as I was put into a private flat by the council and the rent is £1500 per month I can barely make ends meet as it is 😫. Does anyone know how badly I’ll be affected universal credit are of course unhelpful.

Depends when your cut off date is, I get paid 4 weekly so 1 month they presume I get paid twice so I get nothing.
So my assessment dates are 5th to the 4th monthly
Say I got paid on the 6th and on the following month in 4 weeks time on the 3rd UC would count that as approx double earnings for one month and I'll get no UC when in reality each wage goes on that months bills.
You do get 13 payments a year being 4 weekly so on the flip side you will get 2 wages in one month at some point.
If I wish to work out what I'll get from UC I multiply all my wages for the assessment period by 0.55 and then take that amount away from my monthly entitlement (from my online UC journal) whatever amount left over is what I will receive on my UC payment date.

I did some calculations previously and it also seems depending on when you are paid you will get different amounts of UC even if the yearly wage stays the same, UC needs to be calculated on your wage cycle not a one month fits all as it is currently as it's not fair on everyone. Not sure how this can change though

£1500 a month rent!!!! That's crazy high

So they do take it out of your housing costs too? I did think so I just can’t risk not being able to pay that rent

UC doesn't treat those elements separately. Your amount for wages is deducted from your whole UC entitlement.
Say you get £1000 UC, work £500.
Work allowance is £335 so £165 is considered for wages. x0.55 taper rate. £90.75 is taken from your UC.
It's not taken from a specific element.
