New job and dealing with issues

Hi all,

I have a new job as a customer service responder to live chat & tickets which for the most part is very lovely, no Sunday dread, I've built bonds with other new starters in the 'induction group' as I would rather call it and feeling so much less stressed now I am not in a sales/heavy selling capacity. Seems a job I could do too.

But there are a couple of niggles I just wonder if I could get advice on.

When I went for the interview I was told this was a remote working position and it was one of those places where it was said you even had to book a desk if you want to go to workplace ((the training is yep, being done in the work-place but I still believed the this is a remote job and thought the training would be slightly better delivered then how it has turned out)) I was concerned after encountering much delays getting a contract from the Employer, that they are reluctant to state the remote nature in this - am I being an over worrier on this point? I'm not so trusting after what has happened in my past.

I'm happy to either work at home or an office, but certainly as I have to go 6 weeks now to 1st payday, I was kind of relying more so on the home working aspect at this immediate time. (I've seen a comms which I think is the first of being brought back to the work place)

On the training aspect, we appear to spend half a day, every day, being buddied up with existing staff to see how to do the job as it were on zoom! (lol) after going to the trouble to physically attend the workplace, we end up on remote training! - now the people I've encountered so far have all seemed, well negative - they will harp on indirectly about how they are the only one left out of their training group, the staff turn over is high, basically throwing more complicated things at me that I've barely learnt in the other part of the day as if they are trying to out-do me and can never truly explain how their day works (I'm beginning to wonder if they have confidence issues themselves? or somehow it really isn't in their interest to show us the job fully? - how do I get them to stop with their negativity without being rude/off hand?

As one of them slightly got to me yesterday, telling me that the mistake I had made on day 3 even what another buddy dictated that I wrote at the point of being so new would come back at me - I've tried speaking to one of the trainers as my first reaction, but I just got told my comments were going to be shared with a Manager. (which I'm fine with, I'm a big girl and if I can't communicate now there is no hope though I have a feeling the manager will just ignore like some other things I had asked)
It seems such a shame as the place has the potential to be pretty amazing.
