Am I wrong to be upset by this?

I have a colleague is constantly talking about me behind my back. I have multiple chronic illnesses so I can't constantly stand up and do loads of things. Because of this he tells the other staff that I'm lazy and I don't do anything and that I'm not fit to work at the store, just being all round nasty about me. This is pretty upsetting as I can't help my disabilities and I try so hard to do us much as I can. I have had a meeting with this person about this and he did apologize but he's now at it again. Should I go higher up with this or leave it?

Well - it will depend where you work as to how effective it is, but I would already have raised a grievance rather than spoken to him.

How do you know what he's saying, given it's behind your back?

You were nice enough to just talk to him about it at first, so take it higher now.

Multiple colleagues have told me. They all respect me so don't like that he's saying these things.

Would these colleagues give statements as to what he has said?

Yes, they've said they would.
