I have a place to start in September (deferred from last year) but now I think I'm starting to have a little wobble. Maybe a bit of imposter syndrome. It fascinates me, but I read years ago that it's difficult to get onto because the course is incredibly tough, which feels quite daunting now. How difficult is it? What's the drop out rate? And do many very mature students study S<?
Please talk to me about the ups and downs on the course and in the job. Do you love it? Do you ever regret it? Could you comfortably do it in your 60s? Thanks very much for any input.
