Job hunting

Have been with my current employer for 15 years. I enjoy my job but the staff turnover is high twelve people have left in the last 12 months and it takes the company around 2 months to replace a staff member so it makes the job more stressful.
The hours I work are ideal for childcare but in retail that can change anytime no hours are set.
I have seen a job advertised in my local hospital but part of me thinks am I going from one bad job to another with the NHS been so understaffed at the moment. Also I have heard that NHS can be bitchy (not sure if that is true).
I am the sort of person who goes to work to work, Im not very chatty will have a chat with my colleagues but like to be in the background which I am not sure how I would come across in a new job.

Nothing ventured nothing gained. You'll never know unless you go. Thing is with the NHS there are so many different roles and working environments that once you are in you could change to something else a year or two in if it's not for you.

I've been in admin in the NHS for 3 years now and, not saying this is the same everywhere, we're not understaffed nor bitchy. Am guessing it's more the medical side which is understaffed, is this what you are going into.
