Hi,

Me and my dh are currently TTC. I'm worried about morning sickness? Are you an ADI, how did you cope?

I'm not a driving instructor, but I just wanted to say not everyone gets ms

Morning sickness isn't necessarily in the morning either! Or sickness, come to that .

Don't worry about it until it happens. You won't know until your pg how your body will react.

Thanks, I'm a bit worried because I know I need to carry on working while I'm pregnant but like you say, don't worry about it until it happens!

You will presumably need to be able to take control of the car at all times if required during a lesson so I can see why you are giving this some thought in advance.

Many people do not want to risk taking anti-sickness medication but it is available if you are assertive enough and persistent enough to get beyond your G.P. to be referred to a hospital consultant/registrar.

I'm not a driving instructor, just one of those mums-to-be for whom taking time off until the severe sickness phase had passed, was not an option.

Ditto what others have said.

I found that there wasa pattern to my morning sickness....it was far worse in the evening and worse on an empty tummy. If you find a pattern such as that I am sure you can structure your day.

Eating little and often deffo helps. With DD3 I spent 3m sucking boiled sweets to keep the nausea at bay.

Thanks everyone. It would be great if there was a pattern then I could book lessons around it. Will def try to eat regular snacks. Wouldn't really like to take any medication though.
