I would be interested to see if this is part of a normal managerial style.
My managers method of team improvement is to share the performance figures during a team meeting .This is all done over TEAMs as we all WFH. All good so far but then they will focus on one person and go over their figures in detail to provide background. It could be good or bad - seems random. Is this a normal way to manage a team?
Everyone sits in silence while the inspection of the figures is being carried out. Then the team is addressed and urged to improve based on the information discussed.
I hate it - and ive only been on the end of a positive focus -I hated that too.
But I cant challenge it if its a bona fide method of team motivation.
