Hello, just wondering do you get help if your partner works 46 hours and you go to work 16-18 hours, universal credit says I won't get child tax or working tax is this right? I will be earning £570 a month with £200 universal credit, no child tax? Reason being is I'm coming off universal credit to work and I'm only doing 16-18 hours. Any advice??

I think it’s done on your joint earnings not done on how many hours you both work.

@WoozySnoozy hi! I did look at that and I didn't understand it one but I tried to ring citizens advice no answer, but universal credit said I would only receive £250 from them and that including my child tax I wouldn't receive working tax I know that but I used to get £517 for child tax for 2 children out of 3 and they will stop most of that and I would only get like £100 of it?
