P/T Hours on cover letter.

Looking for part time hours after redundancy at end of my maternity.
Some job specs aren't clear on whether it's full time or part time, working no more than 4 days a week. Some jobs are full time, but wondering if there could be some flexibility.

Anyone got any advice on how or whether I should mention this, or just wait for interview?

Id be open to full time for the right job, but I don't want to go full time just yet, I don't feel ready.

Depends on the job and industry. It could benefit a company to have a reduced salary cost while fulfilling the role requirements. You might be able to 'sell' the concept.

I don't think I'd put it on a cover letter though. Let them contact you for interview and then you should ask (before accepting interview). Don't risk your application being binned before they've looked at it.

Yeah I'd rather work harder during the day and have an extra day off. I work better this way anyway.

Thats what I was wondering, I've not had responses from some where I've mentioned hours, but had interviews when hours haven't been mentioned.
