Need advice! So frustrated with new job I applied for!!

I got a job offer from a company i applied for and they told me they we're interested in me and that I should drop by to bring in my paperwork so they can send them to HR to get me started.
I told them I'm busy with my current job but when I I get a chance I will come and bring them.

So the same day I handed my notice to my current employer and today is my actual last day.

I texted my new employer Yesterday and said can I stop by on Friday morning (Today) to give you the paper work you asked for?

And she replied back and said No unfortunately and I will not be avaliable Saturday or Sunday or Monday.

I replied back and said OK so when will be the best time to come? Maybe Tuesday? And I never heard back and it's been over 24 hours. I literally don't know what I should do since I quit my current job to accept this one. I feel like she is blowing me off. Can someone please advise me?

I think your initial response that you were really busy with your current job sounds dismissive and a bit of a power play…she’s pissed off with you, I think I would be too - I’d be worried you were going to be trouble.

What is the job? Obviously resigning before signing a contract is daft but you know that now. 19th seems like a very early start date. Is it hospitality?
