Hello all
I’ve been a member for years although mainly a silent one. Have really valued all the wonderful minds on here so would love some advice. I have two children (3&4) and they are now in full time pre school/school.
I worked in healthcare before my children although a non clinical role. I left that job after my mat leave with 3yo and began my own business which was a success and allowed my husband to quit his full time job and work along side me. Through the children being young and not of pre/school age and the pandemic the flexibility of being self employed was amazing and lovely to be able to spend time with my husband working but now the children are in school I am finding that the work is not fulfilling me.
My ideal job would be working with teens to help them through those tough years. I don’t have any professional experience in this but I do have a lot of experience in my personal life and it’s where my passion truly lies. I do have a degree in psychology and would be willing to work towards extra qualifications. Does anyone have any advice on where to begin looking?
Thank you in advance

I wondered about youth work, but it seems you need another degree, unless you are in Wales. here

First of all, you're amazing! Look at all you've achieved. I always find it's good to look on linked in at the person with your ideal job, then write them a nice email (you'd clearly be good at this) and say to them your situation and that you think they're amazing and could they squeeze you in for a coffee?
Evertytime someone does this to me I find the time for them. And you're clearly entrepreneurial so they might learn something from you too. Good luck!

Maybe look at support services for teens in your area and see if you find those organisations interesting?
