Selling homegrown fruit and veg as a "sideline". Anyone do this?

I live in a small rural village without a supermarket or any shop selling decent fresh produce. There's just a postoffice/minimarket kind of place that's way overpriced for the limited supplies like potatoes and eggs.

I've recently revived my love of gardening and growing my own fruit and veg. I'm thinking of setting up a little seasonal business of selling them in variety boxes or letting people select whichever combos they want.

Would I need anything like health and safety certifications etc to run this type of little sideline? Would my garden and greenhouse need to be inspected?

I thought about offering a local delivery service too.

Anyone ever done such a business as a sideline? Wouldn't be my "main" income btw as I know it would only be seasonal.

Realistically how much will you be able to produce? What's the maximum income you could generate with that volume of veg?
