Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me please. Sorry this is a long one.
From December 2016 to February 2019 I had a very secure job in my organisation, was very good at it and quite highly regarded by my superiors. At the time I was a single parent with 2 school children; I believed this would be the case forever so decided as they were getting older I need to further my career so decided to look for a job (in the same organisation with more prospects) and was successful. I have been in this job since and knew pretty much straight away I had made the biggest mistake of my life leaving my old job. Individually everyone of the team are lovely and I get on with each of them, however I do not feel part of the team; in group calls every morning nobody talks to me or asks how my annual leave/weekend was when everyone else is asked, I don't think unless I ring the others I would of heard from them in over a year since we started working from home.
I have, however met the most amazing man and am now engaged so my need to progress is not of much importance anymore.
My old job that I left has become available and I have been contacted by two other members of staff in that department to let me know that it will be going out for applicants next week.
I really really want to apply but last year I had a bad time with a chronic disability I have (I have never had a day off work because of it before) which needed up in me being off work for 2 months/nearly three - I truly believe this was due to the pressure of my current job. I have started new medication (infusion) that I have every 4 weeks which takes about 2/3 hours.
I am fairly certain that I will at least get an interview but was wondering do I mention in interview about needing an afternoon off every 4 weeks (there is special leave that allows me time off for this) and do I mention the time off I had last year if they don't ask me about it?
Thank you if you have managed to read all that
