Work issues

I'm not really sure what I need. Maybe some advice or just looking for some sympathy. I have been in my current job for 1.5 years, with the company for almost 15 years. I am really unhappy at the moment and dont know what to do. I work in a small team (4 people including me). Two of the team are new, one transfer from another department, the other just returned form maternity leave. Previously this colleague had severe morning sickness and was off for 4 months when I started so I never worked with her. She was also an internal transfer. I actually find her very unpleasant to work with. She does very little work and constantly complains about her workload being too much, however i did her current task alongside my other work while she was on leave so fail to see what her problem is. She makes constant snide remarks behind my back and about other people too, and complains about my work to management when I am not present. The other 'new' colleague doesnt actually do any work for our department, although is very pleasant. So not ideal. I just found out that the reamaining colleague with whom I share 95% of the workload is taking another position. I am very worried that I am going to be stuck with all of the work. As background, when I first started I carried the department because there was one person on maternity leave, one on sick leave and one sudden resignation.

There will be a backfill position, but I suspect that I will have to train the replacement. I do not feel supported by my direct manager.

I have a great former colleague who I have asked and I know there is a position in my previous department. I have asked her to put out some feelers to see if i could get the job.
WWYD? Stay and fight it out? Or leave? Sorry for the essay.

If there's an opportunity to move to your previous department and you're assured of continuous employment as it's a transfer within your current organisation I would try for that.

Meanwhile take your current role a day at a time and don't rock any boats.
