Reporting Business - COVID, please help!

Hi - so the business I work for has a small office and warehouse. They are incredibly busy. One of the directors is really against WFH as he thinks we did a bad job last year... business is booming so there is no real justification behind it. He is a total idiot.
They are refusing to allow people to WFH even though we have all the equipment. The office is small, no airflow, about 6-8 people in there.

I just cannot find who to report this to - would it be HSE or local police for breach of laws/rules?

It's not really covid secure, they have sanitiser and screens between desks (to the front) but not between people, and they sit closer than 2 metres apart.
Any advice would be appreciated. I am terrified to report but don't feel I have a choice.

I'm sure I saw a link on a thread yesterday, the one about the husband and the poor work conditions. Hopefully someone will link it for you.

I am in a similar position.

I'm about to go back to work next week for an old employer. It's an office environment and every other employer I know in that sector has their staff working from home.

The boss wants me in the office, which I am fine with and agreed to as all the staff are part time, so assumed I would be working with no more than 1 other person based on number of days people do.

However, I have now been told that there will be 4 of us in the office, which does not allow for social distancing. No opening windows in the office and I doubt sufficient cleaning is being done.

I haven't even started yet, and I'm not happy!

Not entirely sure what I should do.

If it is not COVID secure it should be reported the the Health and Safety Executive under the health and safety at work act 1974. Cover yourself - get a friend to call and report it and make sure they don’t give your name as you don’t want any comeback . The executive will contact them and usually they will turn up pretty quickly to inspect.
