Anyone work in HR? CIPD level 3 or 5?

I'm really interested in a career in HR. I've currently been working in a part time customer service job as it fits around my children but now want to start up my career again. I have a good degree not in HR but feel it could be relevant. I have been looking at doing the CIPD course but just don't know which level to do.
I thought Level 3 makes sense as I have no experience. However when looking at the courses it seemed to recommend doing level 5 if I have a degree. My concern is that if I pick level 5 I would look over qualified for entry level jobs but I wouldn't get level 5 jobs because I have no actual experience. Yet I don't want to do level 3 if it looks as though I should have done level 5. Can anyone advise? Thank you

Level 5 if you have a degree. You won’t look overqualified if you have no experience, just committed to developing a career in HR. Level 5 is all you need until you become a senior professional when you would need level 7

Customer service to HR/L and D is also a great move across as you need similar people skills so make sure you sell that on your CV/ at interview!

Level 5 if you have degree. It may be tricky to think of examples from work if you have limited HR experience but not impossible!
