Hi all,

I'm 25 weeks pregnant and work for the NHS as a support worker.

I'm high risk due to BAME, pregnancy and being overweight and terrified of getting infected.

I have asked work about being in a non patient facing role and they are "looking into it".In the meantime Iv been told to take annual leave. Is this right?
And does anyone know what happens after 28 weeks gestation? I will hit 28 weeks literally same day as when lockdown 2 is lifted.
Is anyone is a similar situation and what was the outcome please?
I'm feeling very unsupported by the management and this is causing me to get very stressed and anxious.

Any advice would be appreciated!! X

I think you either have to take early mat leave or annual leave. I don't think you can take leave on the basis of being pregnant only.
