I imagine you'll need some sort of liability insurance.

Not being snarky about your Grammar as it really doesn’t matter on here, but if you do go ahead please drop the ‘ from boxes it isn’t necessary and doesn’t give a good impression of your business.

Who are you aiming your product at?

Will it sell?

Who wants sweets in a box when you can easily buy them in a shop.

I’m sure you have thought it all through, but don’t invest too much money if you aren’t sure who your audience are and if there is a need.

Do you need to inform your house insurance as you’re effectively running a business from your address. Your home address is what will go on your tax return etc.

Also do you need to notify the local council?

Ditto public liability insurance I would have thought.

Somewhere secure in your home/garage to store the sweets so they are safe from vermin and ants.

I too would wonder why someone would pay in inflated price for sweets they would buy from a supermarket or sweet shop? What about party bags for birthdays with personalised bags? Or wedding favours?

I think you'll need a USP. Do you think there is a good demand for that in your area or have you just noticed alot of other people doing it?

It's great that you're thinking about going about this properly because I doubt that's the case with other people I have seen doing the same thing.

On an advertising angle, a decent camera and lights to take good photos. Backgrounds as well to keep neutral images, I don't want to see your dog or your toes or whatever. I was recently looking for a sweets hamper to send to for a birthday gift and the amount of amateur pics on eBay were ridiculous. Dirty crap in the background, dusty tables, gross bitten nails holding up the product, blurry or dark images etc. Also a nicely decorated box or bag not just a cellophane cone and sticker. If I'm paying for someone to essentially wrap up overpriced sweets I want it to actually look worth the money and I've seen lots at crazy prices that look awful.
