Slandered by a colleague, I need ideas and help

Hi. I need advice regarding a serious matter. I am a nurse and have been having ongoing issues at work with a bullying and violent colleague who, as retaliation for me starting a grievance against her at work decided to report me to NMC/ our nursing governing body saying I am a rude bully and patients are not safe with me, she basically painted me as an unfit to be a nurse kind of person. This is all fabrication and NMC closed the case without investigating however they sent me a letter to notify me of the matter. One of the problems was she was not able to provide any details of any incident to support her allegations, my employer was contacted and they supported me saying there have not been any issues with my work or professionalism. Also we do not work with 'patients' and not face to face with anyone... So this was definitely a lie with intent to harm my career.
Now as this is definitely slander and libel I wonder what my options are in terms of the NMC taking that off my file.
I spoke with my union and in a first instance I am putting in another grievance against her with this slanderous/libel evidence now. This should be gross misconduct I suppose...
Can someone advise on what should I do next?

Unfortunately I believe that lies told within the context of tribunal type settings cannot be libellous as they fall within the privilege category.

That said your new grievance should focus on a vendetta by a colleague evidenced by an untruthful malicious report to NMC which was dismissed.

I would also ask for MN to transfer this to the work issues section in employment

What a b+ indeed

I would report the matter as a matter of urgency, stating that this person has made a 'vexatious complaint' against you.

What is MN? This is not a lie told in a tribunal setting. I have already put in a grievance about retaliation and libel.

I have reported to HR. I believe this is gross misconduct. I was told NMC investigated a person who made a lying complaint about a colleague in the past and actually suspended her for 5 years...
