Calculating redundancy pay

I'm going through the redundancy consultation I have been employed by my employer 2 years in 2 weeks time
I have been given what my redundancy pay would be and because it's less than 2 years currently I'm entitled to nothing except 1 weeks notice .
My question is if I'm given redundancy notice next week and it's after my date of 2 years notice will that mean my redundancy pay will be recalculated.?
Also I went through the criteria will they give me a copy of the points criteria I got ? we did go through it but looking at it afterwards my criteria I'm not sure how they calculated it to get the total .
I'm worried that I may it may come down to a point or 2 less than a colleague when I could of queried it .

If you are in UK the statutory payment is on here www.gov.uk

Your company may pay you more
Ensure they pay you for holiday
Ensure you have a contact for future references

The day after you are made redundant, you can claim contributions based job seekers allowance via universal credit

They should be basing it on length of service at the point of being made redundant, and at the moment it sounds like you are in the consultation stage? Have they said how long they forsee the consultations lasting?

Gov.uk will give you the redundancy pay figure, then add your notice (2 weeks once you achieve 2 yrs service) and holiday pay etc. No entitlement to redundancy pay and little rights if it's before 2yrs service though, so if your colleague has longer service and therefore more expensive to make redundant, this may go against you unfortunately.

ACAS are also excellent for free advice.

Thanks for posting , They said it's a minimum 30 day consultation but could be up to 45 days .
If Its 45 days it'll be 2 years service .
My 2 years service is literally days away Sad.
I've looked on gov website thanks to the advice .
