Hi, I have 4 children and 1 on the way so work is a while off for me yet but I'd like to get some new skills to help me with a change of career later down the line. I used to work in childcare but I definitely want a change from that and will need something working from home a few days a week or even full time once all the kids are in childcare or school. I'm quite good with computers, constructing emails etc. But definitely need to update my knowledge in these areas.
I wondered about doing an online course or something to learn the ropes on computer software that is commonly used etc.
Has anyone got any tips of the most commonly used software/courses/jobs that I might be able to do from home.... And I'll be mid 40s before I switch to a new job!
No idea where to start or even what sort of job might interest me, but I'll definitely have to work from home for the majority of the week with school holidays and 5 children etc. Something that I could maybe catch up on in evenings and weekends maybe or just part time hours would be ideal but maybe I'm asking too much!
