Do I stay or do I go?!

I currently work for a company that has lacked workload for a few months but has amazing perks. We have two weeks off at Christmas, one week off in summer, insanely flexible hours, good rates of pay.

I have since applied for my dream job, had an interview and been offered it! The rate of pay is lower and a lot less flexible hours.

The trouble being, next year I plan to start a family. The new job pays less, and less flexible. My old job have offered a lot more money, full pay maternity leave and more workload to get me to stay.

Do I go with a dream career or do I go with money and flexibility ready for the near future?!

I’d stay. It’s hard managing work and a family and the extra expense.

Stay where you are.For the money, for the flexibility and security. Why is the other one your “dream job”?

Stay.
“Dream job” sounds like a nightmare

Omg stay! All the benefits they are offering when you have a baby etc you might want to go for the dream now but when you have a child you will want everything to be as smooth as possible, money would usually get tight aswel as childcare etc and your current employer seems to be offering this option! Can I get a job there please?!

Based on how you describe it, it's hard to imagine why you'd want to move. Is there more progression in the other job?

Also, why had workload been low? Could redundancy be on the cards?

Stay... the dream job will always exist (I hope) the flexibility and everything you described sounds perfect for your short term plans.

Once your family is started the shift in priority will mean you'll be so lucky to have your current job.
