Hi Guys, I work as a bank staff at a nursery on a 0hr contract but they don't have any work for me but they are still open ? does this mean I'm entitled to furlough? I usually work 4 full days anyway. Let me know guys thank you.

You’re not entitled to be furloughed, no. No one is- it’s up to the employer. But your employer may be able to furlough you. If they receive public funding, as most nurseries do, they may not be able to do so though, as organisations in receipt of public funds are in most cases expected not to use the scheme.

I don’t know I’m afraid. Universal Credit? Can you get alternative work? I believe many of the supermarkets are still recruiting.

I'd contact all the other local nurseries and let them know you're available for ad hoc work. They may be struggling for staff themselves and if you have experience and you're flexible then you'll be an asset.
