My dd worked part time at a department store on a rolling contract since August.
On Saturday they told her they were terminating her contract. It’s was only a rolling contract so we weren’t surprised. They then said they would be back in touch as soon as the store reopens to re-hire her.
Yesterday she received an email from them saying all staff have been furloughed.
She said it doesn’t apply to her as she was let go, only on a temp contract, but I think that isn’t clear from the email. She said she only received the email as she is being paid up to end March...
Thoughts please?
