What's it like working from home?

I work part time with 1 day from home but I've now been offered another job working from home all the time. I will be on the phone and email all day and out to do school run but I wonder if i will miss people

Any experiences?

I love it and feel very lucky to have my job. I have worked from home for the past 2.5 years, I work Monday-Friday 10-2. No commute, I do get dressed and put on make up as I have to do the school run twice a day but I can wear what I like including my slippers while I work. I am very productive as there isn't anyone (apart from my cat) to disturb me. No office politics, not having to be all smiley when you want to have a grouchy day and the best part is no one telling you what to do.

I honestly don't know how I got so lucky.
