Are you leaving work to stay at home? Sorry, don't know the history.

You'll love it!

neetsmassi · 29/09/2004 13:50

Good Luck - I agree you will love it - I became a SAHM last June - took a bit of getting used to but now I love it

Oh Becca, I nearly forgot.

I woke up this morning with one of those "I know I've got to remember something " thoughts but couldn't think, thanks to DS3 being awake half the night!

I knew it was you before I opened the thread.

Excellent, I hope to see you on the top 100 rich list soon with all your new business's (sorry grammer queens I have no idea where that ' is meant to go)

Skate · 29/09/2004 13:54

Oh yes, MN keeps you sane even if you do end up neglecting your kids a bit when the whole point of being here is to give them your attention

Beccarollover - I work from home too. It's really hard work in terms of fitting it in but I feel I get the best of both worlds as I feel like I still have a bit of independence, something else to think about apart from kids, washing, cleaning and of course, the extra cash is very handy.

Don't get me wrong - I'd be quite happy to do nowt as well

bran · 29/09/2004 13:55

So exciting Becca. I hope you enjoy it, and good luck with your business ventures. Will you still be posting from home?

GeorginaA · 29/09/2004 13:56

"MN keeps you sane even if you do end up neglecting your kids a bit when the whole point of being here is to give them your attention"

Bah... bit of neglect does 'em good

littlemissbossy · 29/09/2004 13:56

Don't worry Becca just think of all the good things
you can wear whatever you like everyday
you can have a coffee break when you want one and you only have to make one for you and not the whole office/department
you will no longer have to endure boring office christmas parties
you will no longer involve yourself in company politics and all the usual sh*te that goes with it
you can have a sleep on a afternoon if you're tired
you can take as much time as you want to do anything
you can spend all day on mumsnet
and you can eat a whole packet of biscuits in one go and noone will know
... what are you worried about???

Beccarollover · 29/09/2004 14:15
