Interview Presentation help (marketing role)

I’m looking for a bit of help please as I’m massively stressing and overthinking about a presentation I have to do for an upcoming interview.

The interview is for a marketing officer role with a local arts centre. The instructions for the presentation are as follows:

^ As part of your formal interview, please prepare a ten minute presentation on the following:
A New Gallery Brand- How would you rebrand and market our gallery to maximise audience reach, locally and nationally^

I’m so desperate for a job I’m convincing myself I don’t know what to do. What I’m struggling with is what do I actual do? Do I physically do a rebrand based on what I think they should do? Or do I go through steps of HOW to rebrand? I have been to the venue and done some preliminary research, SWOT analysis etc. I’m just struggling with it and part of me wants to cancel as I’m clearly out of my depth. But I’ve worked in marketing post graduation for a year, I’m good at marketing I’m just having massive self doubt, overthinking and generally feeling crap.
If anyone can help I’d be much appreciated (just guide me in a direction lol)

I would do process with a few thought starters or conversation points for each stage.
E.g research- we might discover xxxx

Working in the same field, I would always do more rather than less. I think they are looking for answers, not just process, so you need to demonstrate your strategy framework but come to some initial suggestions / propositions as to a reccommended branding solution based on your analysis.
Good luck!

Ok that helps a lot that is what I did I initially think.
Thank you for setting my mind at ease.

I'd go for setting out a strategy, and a few points giving examples of work at each stage - for instance starting with 'Discovery - consulting with stakeholders and target groups to gain knowledge of perception of artcentre. Methods;... Outcome....' through to 'Monitoring of outcome of campaign/rebrand'

Brilliant, thank you so much. It’s pretty much exactly what I’m doing just self doubt kicking in along the way. It’s a big help, thank you!!

Also in this field OP.
If this was me, based on the findings of your research on how they could improve their reach, i'd be outlining what needs to be done to their brand to enable them to do this more effectively than their current branding. I wouldn't be physically "do" a rebrand but I'd certainly come up with a load of ideas on what they could do and explain clearly how that will help them to not only reach their audience better but resonate with them too.

Massive good luck - interviews are always so nerve wracking. Don't doubt your ability though - sounds like you know what you're doing x
