I can't get into their website to access the details or application form. I have emailed asking for the information to be sent ot me but due to post atm (isn't there a strike tomorrow)it seems unlikely I'd be able to turn it around in time . Will they even bother to contact me or extend the deadline ?

Hmm, tricky. I wouldn't say at the interview, this is about the job and whether you are suitable first and foremost.
It may be that they bring it up, ask you about holidays booked, in which case of course tell them.
I'm afraid my assumption would be that holidays in term time are not flexible, but if they like you and offer you the job, they may let you take some unpaid leave as you have booked something. I don't know.
Worry about getting the job first, then address the holiday issue at that point I reckon.

Well I've been . Interview seemed ok although I seemed to gel with one more than others. Computer tasks were a pita - couldn't get PP to work in colour etc and had to reformat the tabs of a word document and edit which I couldn't get done properly.

HI Lizs sorry missed post when you had been.
Believe interviewers not HR about when you will hear. They are the ones making decisions so if they don't think they will be ready to let people know until the end of the week, that's what it will be.
Don't worry yet!
Fingers crossed for you

No news, am a bit peed off at their lack of manners tbh. Seems very unlikely now anyway

that is a bit rubbish.
I'm afraid it's not usually good news if they take their time to let you know
fingers crossed just in case, and for the next one that comes up as well

Update - didn't get that particular position, was filled internally , but have been offered a similar role on a short term basis intially, 21 hours a week over 4 days. However I have only had a brief meeting about it so need to clarify whether I am required to work half term (other role would not have) and if I can arrange to take a day off for a prearranged hospital appointment, perhaps swapping my day off. Would it be reasonable to email the lady I met briefly (who is the manager) to resolve this before formally accepting ?
