Redundancy - on mat leave...paid notice?

Hi all, apologies if this has been answered previously. I am currently on maternity leave (now in the unpaid months, after receiving SMP until recently. I had planned to return to work at the end of my mat leave in October.

So it now sounds as though I will be made redundant - this is actually a good thing for me, so no drama there. My contract states I am entitled to 4 weeks' notice + 1 week for every year I've worked there. I've been at my current employer 11 years. So, for my question - if they serve me my notice now, during the unpaid portion of my mat leave - will they still have to pay me notice?

Any advice appreciated!

I'm confused now.. so let's say someone is dismissed on long term such with sixe years service and 3 months contractual notivr they'd get six weeks at their normal pay and a further 7 weeks SSP?

Last time we had people on redundancy, the ones on maternity leave started their consultation period on the return to work date (after mat leave and all accrued holidays) this was 60 days fully paid as gardening leave. Then they got their redundancy packages paid the pay cycle after that.

No they’d continue to receive SSP for their whole notice period.

I’ve just been made redundant on mat leave. I was paid full pay on my notice period.
But I am not sure whether this is the law or company policy. Up to my final consultation meeting I was told it was be maternity pay on my notice period. But then there was a u turn.
Sorry know that doesn’t really help
