What to wear to interview

It's with an agency in London as I'm thinking about doing some temp work to let me back in gently before looking for permanent work.
I worked in the City for years until going on maternity leave in 2001.

Do I wear black corporate attire
www.reiss.com/p/tailored-v-neck-dress-womens-hartley-sleeveless-dress-in-navy-blue/?category_id=13132&gaEeList=W%20-%20Dresses%20-%20Work
Reise dress like this but in black
or should I ease off a bit and wear a blue tea dress
www.oasis-stores.com/gb/sale/dresses/juliette-print-dress/070316.html?dwvar_070316_color=61&position=29&cgid=sale-dresses#page=2&productsMoved=0&hideFeatured=false&start=29&categoryID=sale-dresses
similar to this but more stuffy, with blue jacket?
Or something else?

TIA

Go smart dress in a suit and jacket, unless you are going to work in technology, when I'd suggest that you dress down with smart skinny jeans a blouse and jacket.

tea dresses are fine for work but maybe a bit mumsy for an interview.

good luck!

Corporate wear. The rule of thumb is one level smarter than you would wear to work on a day to day basis. That said, when interviewing I barely notice what people wear to an interview as long as they are clean, neat and tidy and dressed innocuously. I think it is easy to overthink that part of an interview. The most important thing is to feel comfortable so you can concentrate on impressing them with your ability to do the job.
