How to work out salary if I go part time?

Hi,

I am going to be applying to go pt at work but would like to have a idea of my salary.

It would be 21 hours

I currently work 37 and earn approx 41k

Please help mums net

Just over 23k

So full time is 37 hours you will work 21 hours so 21/37=0.56

41 * 0.56 =23.27

Yep. £23,270.

£41 k / 52 (weeks) / 37 Hrs x 21 hrs x 52 = £23,270

41 divide by 37 , then multiply by 21

(same as Gizlotsmum above)

Same with holiday entitlement, although some employers will argue the toss about that.

Tax reduction will be slightly different though, because your personal allowance will be the same.

Part time would be about 1613 (assumes your full time take home is 2617). Look on a site like www.thesalarycalculator.co.uk/salary.php
