Ts & Cs on website

I'm starting an online tuition business and have written the terms and conditions myself, to be displayed on my website. Are these legally binding? How do I know they protect me adequately? Should I get these checked over by a solicitor? When I've tried to approach solicitors, they don't seem interested. I'm a bit lost! TIA

The quickest and cheapest way is either to find a company doing something similar and copy theirs, or use google to find template or boilerplate t&c’s and use those - you’ll probably have to pay but it’s not a huge amount.

Sites like simplydocs are good for boilerplate legals for small businesses but I don’t know if they’ve got what you need.

Make sure that your total liability is capped at 1 month’s payment from your client.
