I need something fairly simple for my new consultancy business and I'm not sure where to start really

It doesn't need to be complex

I have found a few american things but I'm UK so need something different
TIA

Are Lawdepot any good?

The trouble with an amateur editing T&Cs is that you risk invalidating whole sections, or even the whole document, if you mess it up. There are legal issues covered by the law, i.e. sale of goods act, distance selling act, unfair contract terms act, which you simply can't change. There are also specific matters that must be covered, such as GDPR.

I know, which is why i'm not starting from scratch

But my basic terms aren't likely to be similar to other people's so I do need some flexibility alongside GDPR/confidentiality/general stuff

I've got some with blanks where I need them, so I'll see if they work for a bit

You can join the FSB and they have loads of template documents and advise etc - that's quite a sensible option. Or you can basically copy someone else's t&cs and edit to your liking :-) If you Google, you'll also find quite a lot of basic legal templates for sale, but I don't know how you'd know which are better/worse quality. I have bought & adapted templates specific to our industry sector like this.

I personally think plain-English understandability is more important than watertight legalese for a small business.
